Article 16 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Forest” The Forestry shall be aimed at ensuring the protection, conservation, rational use of forests and forest use system of measures, which includes:

Establishment of boundaries of the State Forest Fund plots and establishment of the territory of the territory of the State Forest Fund in the use of permanent forest users;

topography-geodetic works and logging of forests on a special map;

accounting of the state forest resources;

defining the age of forests, identifying the plan for cutting forest trees associated with forestry management, size of cutting trees and other kinds of forest use;

determination of the volume of works on protection, conservation, restoration and construction of forests, as well as volume of other forestry works;

Development of forest management projects and control over their implementation.

Forestry projects are subject to state expertise and are approved by state forestry authorities and local authorities. Forestry projects are the main normative and technical document for forestry, preservation and hunting, forest use, current and prospective planning.

Forestry shall be carried out in the order established by the General Directorate of Forestry under the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the uniform system in all forests.

The State Enterprise “Urmonloyiha” annually carries out forestry work on 3-4 forest enterprises at the expense of the state budget. Forestry works are carried out in accordance with the “Order of execution of forestry design and survey works”, approved by the Order of the Main Department of Forestry No. 48 of May 7, 2012.

Article 17 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Forest” The state forest management shall be carried out on the basis of forestry projects on the basis of materials of the State Forestry Authority on the basis of accounting and verification of the state forest resources in places where there are no forestry.

State registration of forests shall be carried out at the expense of the state budget through a single system and in accordance with the procedure established by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

State forestry accounting works shall be carried out by forestry authorities as of January 1 of each year and submitted to the Forestry Main Administration.

Article 18 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Forest”State Forest Cadastre consists of a system of data and documents on natural, economic and legal regime of forests, their categories, qualitative characteristics of plots of the state forest fund and their distribution among forest users the State Forest Cadastre shall be obliged to inform interested legal entities and natural persons on forestry, forest protection, conservation, rational use and reproduction of forests, State forestry cadastre is carried out by state forestry authorities in the order established by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, on a single system, at the expense of the state budget.

State Forest Cadastre works shall be carried out by forestry authorities as of January 1 of each year and submitted to the Forestry Main Administration. Forestry Main Department is summarized by the State Forest Cadastre Division and submitted to the Uniform System of State Cadastres of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan “Ergeodezcadastre”.
