Information on the progress of socio-economic development and economic reforms of the sector during the first quarter of 2017 by the General Directorate of Forestry

During the reporting period, the General Directorate of Forestry and the forest farms in its system carried out certain activities to deepen economic reforms in the sector, to ensure the fulfillment of socio-economic indicators.

During the first quarter of 2017, 18,000 hectares (100 percent compared to the plan), including 7,000 hectares in the dry bottom of the Aral Sea, were planted with new forests from desert plants, and measures were taken to support their natural recovery.

Instead of the planned 141 hectares, nurseries and nurseries were established on an area of 153 hectares, and 108% of the planned plan was fulfilled.

In order to ensure the implementation of the orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of October 16, 2012 No. 683-F and No. 539-F of August 24, 2013 on increasing the planting of tulip trees and Crimean pine seedlings, more than 3,500 tulip trees and more than 64,300 Crimean trees were planted throughout the country during the month of planting. More than 79,000 pine seedlings were planted in Chilongji.

Currently, planting of ornamental and fruit trees and shrubs is being organized in the territory of our republic.

In addition to the establishment and restoration of forests, for the purpose of their protection, protection, protection from diseases and pests, biological control works were carried out on the planned area of 604.3 hectares (100 percent compared to the plan) against forest diseases and pests, of which 106.7 hectares were planned. .

During the first quarter of 2017, 25.5 km of planned fire roads, 2 km of new protective lines, 5.8 km of mineralized strips were built, 25.5 km of planned forestry roads and 121.5 planned km of mineralized strips have been repaired, and all indicators have been fully fulfilled according to the plan.

In order to ensure the implementation of the report of the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 4 on January 25, 2017 "On the measures planned for 2017 on the wide use of opportunities of forestry, further development of cultivation, preparation and processing of medicinal plants, strengthening of the material and technical base of forestry" Medicinal and nutritious plant plantations were established on 1380.4 hectares.

During the first quarter of 2017, 234.7 mln. Soums (110.4 percent compared to the previous year) of consumer goods were produced and 24,400 Soums worth of services were provided to the population.

10 additional new workplaces were created on the basis of household production.

During the reporting period, 81.4 quintals of meat were produced by auxiliary farms.

314 tons of black metal scraps were collected by system farms during the reporting period, and the task was completed by 100.6%.
