During the reporting period, the State Committee of Forestry and the forest farms within its system carried out certain activities to deepen economic reforms in the sector, to ensure the fulfillment of socio-economic indicators.

In 2016, 44,000 hectares of forests were planted, and in 2017, 44,500 hectares of land (101% growth) (wood-wood-1,600 ha, nut-fruit-4,466 ha), including 19,000 hectares of forest in the dry bottom of the island. was established.

For afforestation and nursery activities

Including 11 vehicles, 22 tractors (including 3 row cultivators), 5 trailers, 2 cultivators, 2 chisels, 3 seed drills, 6 ploughs, 1 harrow, 2 sprayers and 1 presspodborshik was purchased through "Ozagrolizing" JSC on the basis of a lease agreement. The initial payment specified in this lease agreement was paid from the funds of the Forestry Development Fund.

Also, in 2018, 30 tractors, 2 combine harvesters, 20 trailers, 10 cultivators, 15 chisels, 6 seeders, 5 harrows, 40 plows, 15 sprayers and 10 press podborshik were purchased on the basis of a loan from Agrobank. ;

It is planned to purchase 15 tractors, 11 "ISUZU" trucks, 26 vehicles for regional forestry departments at the expense of the Forestry Development Fund.

In addition, there is an agreement on the purchase of high-performance agricultural and forestry special equipment manufactured at the Belarusian "Amkodor" and Russian "UAZ" enterprises for a period of 5 years on a lease basis.
