October 21 - Uzbek language holiday
The existence of a people, a nation, is determined primarily by its own language. On October 21, 1989, the law "On the State Language" was adopted, and the legal status of the Uzbek language was strengthened.
The mother tongue is an invaluable treasure of the nation's thinking, a huge wealth, and it is of great importance in social life. Preservation and development of the language means the rise of the nation. In the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the status of the state language has been legally strengthened, and the statement that "the Uzbek language is the spiritual property of the Uzbek people" added pride to the public's pride. In this way, the Uzbek language has become a symbol of the holy state, which stands among the flag, coat of arms, and anthem of our independent state and is protected by law.
The Forestry Agency congratulates all our compatriots on today's holiday - "Holiday of the Uzbek language"!
