There is not a person who did not enjoy the green scenery of nature and did not feel refreshed in his body. Because we are all children of nature. Therefore, man's duty to nature and society is extremely wide and important.
The role of forests in human life...
If the forest is used effectively, mature trees are selectively cut, and appropriate measures are taken in time, the forest will live long and recover well. The forest, in turn, has a great influence on soil conditions, its water regime, structure, accumulation of organic and mineral substances, and soil fertility.
The forest maintains a number of chemical elements and water in the biosphere, actively interacts with the troposphere and determines the level of oxygen and carbon balance. They produce 60% of the oxygen needed by humans. The forest is important for recreation and health.
"If you destroy the forests, it's impossible to restore the ecosystem to the way it was before. We eat, drink and breathe because this mechanism works. Oxygenation, water purification, plant pollination are all part of a larger system. All animals and plants in forests contribute to this system," says Dmitry Gorshkov, director of the World Wildlife Fund in Russia.
In fact, half of the forest areas have not suffered from the external influence of man, and a third of the forests have not experienced the consequences of human activity. Despite this, deforestation continues, meaning that new areas of the planet will lose their forest cover.
According to statistics, more than half of the world's forests are located in five countries: the Russian Federation, Brazil, Canada, the United States and China.
Each tree growing in forests is a natural aqueduct that sends 95 percent of moisture to the place where it is needed. They retain moisture in the soil and prevent rotting processes. At the same time, it releases evaporated water into the atmosphere, which provides a cooling effect.
Although we all understand the importance of trees and shrubs in our lives, unfortunately, every year the forests of the earth lose about one hundred million trees. One tree gives almost 100 cubic meters of oxygen in a year.
The green world is the main root of pure nature. The healthy trees and green areas that are stretching across the sky are refreshing to the eyes and provide clean air.
Let's not forget that we are all equally involved in keeping the climate of our country moderate and protecting nature!
