The new development strategy of Uzbekistan also identifies a number of priority tasks related to the implementation of the national project “Green Space”, expansion of the forest area in the territories of the republic and the effective use of forest fund lands.

Today, the area of forest fund lands under the jurisdiction of the forestry agency in the republic is 11.8 million hectares.

The indicator of the degree of forest cover of forest fund lands is an important indicator of forestry activity; currently this figure in our country is 5.3 million hectares. According to the concept of development of the forestry system in the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030, it is planned to increase the area of forest land to 14 million hectares, of which 6 million hectares are covered with forest. Over the past short period, extensive work has been carried out in this direction.

The study of nurseries and nurseries was carried out in the Kokralinsky forestry district of the Khorezm forestry enterprise. Experts gave appropriate instructions on the development of nursery and seed production.

Our people treated the people who planted trees and created gardens with special respect. Today, special attention is paid to the development of the nursery network in the republic. Drip irrigation technology is also being introduced to ensure full germination of seedlings.
