Since time immemorial, mankind has strived to fight ignorance, heresy and superstition with enlightenment.

In cooperation with the Committee on Religious Affairs and the Ministry of Justice, a propaganda event was organized under the slogan "Enlightenment against ignorance" dedicated to ensuring the stability of the social and spiritual environment in the country and improving the health of the religious situation.

As noted, in a situation where deep changes in the economic and social, information and communication landscape are taking place in different parts of the world, and in a situation where the conflict of different ideologies is becoming sharp, it is clear to all of us that opinion against opinion, idea against idea counter-idea, fighting ignorance with enlightenment is more important than ever.

During the event, it was noted that ignorance and intolerance are the essence of the threats of terrorism and extremism, which have become more and more intense in recent years and are worrying the people of the world. It was said that the great scientists who grew up in our country achieved such incomparable achievements in the field of science, enlightenment and spirituality in the conditions of the Middle Ages precisely because of their knowledge.

Today, in our country, special attention is being paid to raising the intellectual potential, thinking and worldview of the population, especially the youth, and raising a well-rounded generation that lives with a sense of patriotism, love and loyalty to the people.
