On March 23 of this year, at the initiative of the Forestry Agency, an order was given to organize seminars on the preparation of seeds and the organization of seed plantations in the regions.

The greatest loss of forests was observed in the tropical countries of South America and Africa, but in the last 5 years the rate of forest reduction in these regions has decreased dramatically.

According to officials of the field, the reasons for the decrease of forest resources have been studied and analyzed. Based on the studies, natural - abrupt climate change, various erosions, landslides, flooding, drought, natural fires, spread of diseases, detection by animals and insects, etc., anthropogenic - forest fire dens, felling of trees, development of land for the purpose of planting agricultural crops, economic activities - increase in the number of people on the earth, a sharp increase in the amount of wood production has been determined.

In our country, a number of measures have been determined to protect forests and expand the world of greenery. Today, together with the heads of specialized state forestry enterprises of Yakkabog, Kashkadarya region, a seminar was organized on the creation of a selective breeding base of trees and shrubs on the land areas of the forest fund and the organization of mother plantations of tree and shrub seeds in order to obtain quality seeds. done.

Taking into account the recommendations of scientists in the field regarding the genetic purity and purity of seedlings of trees and shrubs planted in the established mother plantations,
