It is known that the Institute of Forestry within the university was established on the basis of the Faculty of Forestry and Landscape Design of the Tashkent State Agrarian University, and a number of tasks were defined.

In particular, effective use of forestry lands, development and propagation of forest selection and seed production, planting, protection and use of forests, scientific research and experiments, and highly qualified personnel implementation of preparatory work, step-by-step transfer of curricula of educational directions and specialties within the Institute to the credit-module system of education based on advanced foreign experiences, modernization of the educational-laboratory base, field in science programs reflecting knowledge on modern production processes, high-performance and resource-efficient advanced technologies, new interactive methods that guide students to innovative and new thinking during training, professional practices, including , wide introduction of mechanisms that ensure independent research of students and organization of training and internships of professors-teachers, scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel in advanced foreign research and higher education institutions are the main tasks of the institute.

The deputy director of the Forestry Agency, G. Kurbanov, talked with the students of the Faculty of Forestry and Landscape Design of Tashkent State Agrarian University.
