Issues of preventing emergency situations in forests were discussed

On January 24, a practical seminar on “Cooperation in the field of environment and security” was held in the Bostanlyk district of Tashkent region in cooperation with the Forestry Agency and the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The event was attended by Erkin Muhitdinov, Director of the Forestry Agency, First Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations, Chief of Staff Colonel Sanjar Zufarov, and officials.

During the seminar, issues of forestry development, protection of natural resources, and prevention of emergency situations, such as fires occurring around the world, were discussed. Proposals were also put forward to strengthen cooperation between the two organizations and reduce the risks associated with forestry in emergency situations.

“Forests are important not only for ecology, but also for the economy and security. Our main task is to protect nature, rationally use resources and create a clean environment for future generations,” said Erkin Muhitdinov.

First Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Sanjar Zufarov noted that forest fires pose a serious threat not only to nature, but also to people.

“We must introduce modern techniques and methods to eliminate these dangers. Today's seminar was an important step for specialists in the field to exchange experiences and reduce risks,” he said.

During the event, practical and demonstration trainings on the use of special equipment and equipment were organized by specialists of the Fire Department. Specialists demonstrated modern equipment designed to eliminate fires in forestry, as well as to supply water in mountainous areas.

At the end of the seminar, the work carried out in the field was analyzed and measures to be taken in the future were determined.
