Pastures are being restored in Kyzylkum
In cooperation with the Kyzylkum State Forestry and the Institute of Botany of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, work is being carried out to plant halophytic steppe plants such as izen, cherkes, and karaborak in degraded pastures.
The farm has attracted more than 10 workers and 3 pieces of equipment to the process. Agrotechnical measures are being carried out on the advice of qualified scientific staff of the Institute of Botany.
It should be noted that the nature of the state forestry has a changeable climate. In summer, the air temperature warms up to 35-40 degrees. The territory consists of desert and semi-desert barren sands.
As a result of planting seeds of izen, cherkes, and karaborak steppe plants in degraded areas, nutritious feed reserves are accumulated in pastures for the population's livestock. Most importantly, dust and sandstorms are prevented.
