"Green cover" protective forests are being established in Karakalpakstan
Erkin Muhiddinov, Director of the Forestry Agency under the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change, got acquainted with the activities of the Muynak State Forestry of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
Initially, the head of the Agency met with workers participating in tree planting on the dried-up bottom of the Aral Sea and got acquainted with the conditions created for them. They exchanged views on the work being carried out and gave ideas on high-quality planting of seeds and seedlings. Also, the “green cover” protective forest plantations planted in the “Surgul” massif during 2018-2024 were inspected.
At the end of the event, instructions were given to all heads of forestry of the Republic of Karakalpakstan on the timely delivery and planting of high-quality seeds for the “green cover” protective forest plantations being established.
