The Syrdarya State Forestry is carrying out a number of works to restore forests, grow fruit and ornamental tree seedlings, and also to ensure employment in the regions.

In particular, 20 hectares of forest land in the city of Yangiyer have been selected for afforestation, and planting of seedlings has now begun in the area.

For information, in 2024, the area of ​​nurseries in the Shirin, Galaba, Malek and Gulistan departments of the Syrdarya State Forestry was 17 hectares. In 2025, this figure is planned to be increased to 33 hectares.

In order to create a reserve of seedlings, the farm planted 3 tons of fruit and ornamental tree seeds in nurseries last year. The goal is to prepare 4 tons of fruit and ornamental tree seeds in 2025.

In addition, lease agreements have been concluded with 20 needy residents in the neighborhoods to grow seedlings, medicinal plants, and agricultural products on forest land, ensuring their employment.
