In recent years, the national project "Green Space" has been implemented in order to improve the ecological situation in our country.

In particular, in the spring season of this year, a total of 127.7 million seedlings and cuttings (102.2 percent compared to the plan) were planted in the framework of the project in the districts and cities of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and Tashkent city, and "green space" " was entered into the electronic platform. For these events, 21.8 million (101.3 percent of the plan) seedlings and cuttings were delivered by the forestry companies.

Also, in the spring season of this year, within the framework of the national project "Green Space", "green gardens" were established by the ministries and departments on the land allocated to Burchmulla State Forestry in Bostanliq district. Planting of 146,000 tree and shrub seedlings was carried out in these areas on a total area of 326 hectares. These activities are planned to be continued in the autumn season.

In addition, in 2023, it is planned to establish "green parks" on a total area of 347.1 hectares. In order to ensure the implementation of this task, up to now, a total of 131 local councils have taken appropriate decisions on allocating land for the purpose of establishing "green parks". In turn, contracts were signed with the "Yashilloiha" design institute for the development of project documents in order to organize "green parks" to be established in the regions based on the established requirements. Construction of "green gardens" in the regions will be fully completed during the autumn planting season this year.
