Violence against women is any form of physical, sexual or psychological harm or suffering to women based on their gender identity, as well as the threat of such acts, coercion or violence against women, whether in society or in private life, is one of the most widespread violations of human rights.

In the future, a number of activities are being carried out in Uzbekistan to ensure the rights and interests of women, gender equality, protect the family, motherhood and childhood, create new jobs for them, improve working and living conditions, and prevent oppression and violence against women. . Currently, this issue has become a priority of state policy. In this regard, events aimed at drawing public attention to this issue are being organized in order to provide mental support and motivation to women who are in a difficult social situation, including family problems and face various types of violence in their lives, and to strengthen anti-violence propaganda.

A roundtable discussion on this topic was organized today at the Forestry Agency. Yulduz Oripova, adviser to the director of the Forestry Agency on improving the effectiveness of spiritual and educational work, ensuring compliance with the laws on the state language, led the roundtable discussion. All women working in the Forestry Agency actively participated and found answers to all the questions they were interested in.
